Facts and stats
Number-crunching the year of prayer
We've prayed for one whole year, non-stop. Over 10,000 people...over 202 centres...and a cumulative total of around 70,000 hours of prayer... And God has well and truly blown our minds!
These are the official statistics for 24-7/sa 2001-2002:If numbers are your thing, then you'll love this next bit.
202 Salvation Army centres took part in 24-7/SA, praying for anything from 1 to 7 days...and those are just the ones we know about.
Those 202 centres included:
- 168 corps in the UK
- 10 corps overseas
- 3 social centres
- 6 divisional headquarters
- 4 conferences
- 8 summer schools
- The William Booth College
- Territorial Headquarters
- and the Mission Team
Size has been no obstacle to anyone wanting to do 24-7. Corps with only 20 members have prayed just as much as corps with 500, and all of them have seen powerful answers to prayer.
Every single division in the territory took part in 24-7/sa. (Here are the cold facts, for those of you with a competitive spirit!)
